Are you an experienced developer or cloud engineer looking for a steady, low-hour side gig with high growth potential? We are looking for a sharp, autonomous Systems Architect / Full-Stack Developer to help us map our architecture, build our deployment pipelines, and ensure code quality before it hits production. This role begins as a flexible, low-hour contractor position but is expected to scale into a full-time job.
Role Overview
- Role Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (With clear path to full-time post-launch)
- Hours: 4 hours per week (Highly flexible, completely asynchronous)

- Compensation: $50.00 per hour
What You Will Be Doing (Immediate Deliverables)
- Map the Architecture: Create a definitive Web Application Architecture Diagram mapping our serverless staging environment, our dedicated production VPS, Supabase DB, and code pathways.
- Automate CI/CD: Set up and optimize deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Forgejo Runners to automate safe deployments across infrastructure types.
- Weekly Code Review: Spend your weekly hours auditing code transitions from staging to production, ensuring everything is secure, optimized, and ready for deployment.

Requirements
- Architectural Experience: Strong background architecting web applications and mapping out clean, technical infrastructure diagrams.
- CI/CD Automation: Hands-on experience building and maintaining pipelines across multiple environments (GitHub Actions, Forgejo Runners, or similar CI tools).
- Full-Stack Proficiency: Solid understanding of Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic) and JavaScript/TypeScript (Next.js).
- Hybrid Infra Knowledge: Proven experience handling both serverless deployments (Vercel) and self-hosted, dedicated environments (Coolify, Docker, standalone VPS).
- Autonomy: Must be a reliable self-starter who can take an infrastructure map and build out the required automation with minimal oversight.
- Setup: Must provide your own development environment and equipment.
